We do not enter first names for all our contacts, for example company names go in just the last name field. So when I use the virtual terminal to enter a transaction, it won't let me save it unless first name is entered. How can I turn off first name as a required field? or is there a work around? Thanks!

Good day!
Our API works with banks & gateways and as such all transactions require a first name and last name. Credit cards all have names and one can't do processing with a person's name.
We understand that in Salesforce this may become an issue when processing non credit card checks and have this in the road-map to add in the next release due out in the fourth quarter of '15.
