Thanks- I found the issue. I was logging into the API User account as an administrator. When I logged directly into the account from the login screen, everything worked fine. Thanks for all your help, everything is all set.

Good day @lamjus,
Would you please share the User name you are integrating with, so that we can have one of our developers to review it?
Looking forward to hearing back from you.
Thanks,

Good day lamjus
The connected user has to be an admin. It has to have lot more permission since it starts services, jobs, creates, updates, and deletes activities, contacts, opportunities, and account as well as all our custom objects.
Is the new user a System Admin?

I think so- it has a View All and Modify All user profile in addition to having as three "All-Permissions" permission sets (IaaS, PaaS, and Event).

Does the user you are trying to verify with have the right C&P permission sets (I usually give them the full set)? I believe they recommend they also be a System Admin account, or they will at least need permissions on all the objects outside of the app C&P touches.

Api Only User as Connected Salesforce User
Currently, my System Administrator user account is used as the "Connected Salesforce User" for our C&P integration. I will be leaving the organization shortly and would like to replace my user account with a special API User account we use for 3rd part integrations. However, whenever I go to the Sf Connection section on the C&P and select "verify" to make the change while logged in as the API User, I get an insufficient error message. Is there anything additional I should be doing in order to make this work?Tags: None
