  • Recurring Donation - installments

    We had a donor ask for a finite number of installments on their donation. With Click & Pledge Connect the interval is indefinite. I would like to adjust this donors record so that there are 16 payments remaining. Is there a way to adjust the option for setting the number of installments?

    Good day @mmessinger,

    As of now we don't have an option to update the recurring periodicity. You will need to cancel the recurring transaction and setup a new one with correct periodicity.

    There is a solution for this- you may cancel the entire charge and charge the card with correct periodicity immediately afterwards. In Salesforce OR in Connect you may charge an existing credit card through the reference transaction and that is what is used by everyone.

      This is not a great solution. Many of our donors are out of the U.S. and it would be difficult to explain this to them. I hope in the future Click & Pledge will be updating to allow for change in the number of installments.

      Also, in Click & Pledge Connect our account is only giving the option to view the last 30 days of transactions. Is there a way to update this to at least 90 days?

        By default we offer the view of 30 days but you may can create the new view of max 90 days depending on the dates you wish to view.

            It is very simple: Login to your Connect >> Transactions >> Create New View:

            You will need to define View Name and Start Date and End Date:

                Hi there - has this been updated in the year since originally posted? We have a donor who would like to make her recurring donations finite as well, but I don't seem to be able to edit that field. Thanks!

                  That is not an option. The only solution is to cancel the recurring and setup a new one accordingly.
