  • C&P Settings for virtual terminal

In virtual terminal settings, there is a name field under custom payment.

If one wants to support multiple custom payment types (like Check,Cash,Free, etc) should they be listed and separated by a semi-colon(?

    Good day!

In the VT you need to enter each payment type as a separate item. See below:

All items will appear as a pull down menu in the VT if Custom Payment type is selected.

    Hope that answers your question.

Please let us know if we can be of any further assistance.

Thanks. I think I failed to correctly ask my question.

I want the autoresponder to respond to custom payments that are either Cash,Check,Free etc. How do I list the set of custom payments that are acceptable for the autoresponder.

        Good day!

Autoresponder is per payment method. In this release if you wish to have an autoresponder for 3 different payment methods, e.g. Token, Cash, etc. then you need to have 3 autoresponders.

We will add it in the next release so one autoresponder will handle any number of custom payment types but as of this release (8.x) only one autoresponder name can be used in the field.

        Hope that answers your question.

thanks for addressing this. I clearly do not want to need to create many autoresponders.

If I leave the autoresponder custompayment name field blank (but have custompayment checked), will autoresponder match any custom payment?

              Good day!

No it won't as the text won't match. Blank is not a wildcard.
