Account Name as merge field for Autoresponder

You cannot just add these variables. We simply look for the codes we have in place and replace them in run-time.

We can include it in the next update. Currently we are working on a beta release to add a few other suggestions that our clients have asked for since last week and we can add this as a request.

BTW: This post needs to be posted in the Salesforce Donor Management and not the API platform. The API platform is for the SOAP service core API. Each application has its channel to make searching easier for those interested in the specific products & features. I will move this to the correct channel.

I'm trying to include an account name in an autoresponder so I can thank companies for their in-kind donations. {Contact.AccountName} does not do the trick. Nor does {CnP_PaaS__CnP_Transaction__c.CnP_PaaS__Account__c }. Is there a way to do this?

The only way I've found is to create a custom formula field in C&P Transaction that retrieves the Account Name of the associated account. My custom field is simply CnP_PaaS__Account__r.Name, leading to a custom merge field of {CnP_PaaS__CnP_Transaction__c.AccountName__c}.
