Acknowledgement Status and Date

Good afternoon,

I am looking for a way to get Salesforce/CnP to automatically update the Opportunity "Acknowledgement Status" and Acknowledgment Date" fields upon processing a CnP opportunity. Since we are using the autoresponder to send our donors an IRS letter this would be very nice to have.
