Fields missing from Custom Mapping interface

Hi- I am trying to set up Custom Mapping on Opportunity and some fields are missing from the Field Map picklist. I've tried 2 browsers, checked FLS (I can see the field fine on the Opp). It's just missing from the list entirely. It's a checkbox, but other checkboxes show up fine. Any ideas? Thanks!

Opportunity.Tax_Deductible__c is the field.

It seems like you have created a custom field called Tax_Deductible and we have a similar name.




The field is not our field and appears to be customized. Please rename that field and test since it is causing a conflict.

Do you mean relabel it or rename it? I can't just rename it-- it's in use by code. Thanks.

The API name is the same as ours and Salesforce has issues when both of these fields have the same name.

The label is purely cosmetic and has not affect on the error that is being generated. The API name is what is being queried and as such has issue.

Hi- I'm curious why your manged code doesn't check namespace to account for that fact that orgs might have similarly named fields? It seems like a bug-- any way we can fix it? It will be an expense for the org to have me refactor the code.

We do - every aspect of our code uses our namespace. This is a Salesforce issue and one that we have also reported before & have discussed with Salesforce.

This is not an issue with Click & Pledge code, believe me. Salesforce behaves quite incorrectly with this and given the duplicate name it does not show the field.
