  • Mapping Salesforce Campaign to Forms

    I want to map forms to specific campaigns in Salesforce to C&P checkout forms but am unable to find the option in one org. In other orgs I've been able to map campaigns to skus or WID in Salesforce under the Opportunity Form section using the "Primary Campaign Source" section but this doesn't show as an option for the current or in which I'm working. Does anyone know if there is a setting I need to enable in order to get this as an option for configuration?

    You have posted this question in the "Salesforce Upgrade Assistance" Channel.

    We are not sure what form this is related to in Salesforce. Please explain further so we move this into proper channel.

    Each application has a dedicated channel and posting to the right channel will ensure the right team is informed. Once we know the form we can move forward.

      Well it's a setting I've seen before in Salesforce under Click and Pledge Settings / Opportunity. The Primary Campaign Source feature is available in other org in which I've worked, but does not appear as an option for this org. If this is more appropriate in another section of the forum I'm happy to post there. I'm pretty new to C&P and the forum, so trying to navigate to the best solution possible.

        No problem. I moved this thread to the Salesforce Donor Management.

        May I have the Salesforce Org ID and access to the account so we can review.

        Also is the account having Opportunity > Product enabled in the C&P Settings?

            The instance is not up-to-date.

            Is it OK if we upgrade it to the latest releases?

                Good day!

                The issue is, as posted earlier, with the C&P Settings > Opportunity > opportunity Products

                When opportunity product is enabled, a single opportunity will be set up with all items under it listed as products. Products do not have campaign, only Opportunity has campaign and as such SKU is meaningless given we cannot assign a campaign to a product.

                If you wish to use SKU's then you should uncheck the opportunity product since the two concepts conflict with each other.

                We have added your upgrade request to the queue and will update this thread once we have upgraded and configured the post-installation.
