  • Some transactions coming through into Salesforce but not creating a donation/opp

Hi, I've found a few C&P transactions (the only ones so far that I've found are recurring) where the charge has been processed and shows up in Salesforce, but a donation/opportunity has not been created. I'm not sure if there's anything you can suggest on your end, but at the very least is there some way I can run a report to find all of these cases?

I've already tried an Apsona filter on C&P donations where # of donation records is 0, but nothing comes up and I know that there is at least one.

    Good day!

Please do not use any other 3rd party to figure out what is going on. There is a reason for everything so let's find out what is going on.

        Good day!

We reviewed your instance and noticed that a trigger designed by KELL Partners is acting on the opportunity. We contacted KELL Partners and they are better suited to answer your question.

Please open a KELL support ticket and they will explain how to fix it going forward.

Please let us know if we can be of any further assistance.

Hi Maggie, to elaborate - what's happening is that you have a lot of opportunities on the same fund so when the batches are run to process recurring gifts overnight it's having an issue because you have too many records looking up to the same record. So the trigger on KELL Fund Allocations that creates allocations is getting a data skew error. https://developer.salesforce.com/blo...ata-skews.html

Go ahead and open a support ticket with us and we can make some suggestions on how to alleviate the issue, primarily you'll need to consider breaking up your larger Funds with lots of gifts into smaller ones (maybe by year?). You can find the ones with this issue by going to the C&P Data tab and click the view drop down to "Error" - those are the opportunities that weren't created.
