  • SUPPORT REQUEST: Error when opening CnP Settings --> Custom Mapping

    Hello — getting the same error as this thread. When I try to open Custom Mapping Settings, I get the following error:

    Map key Test_Magazine__c not found in map
    Error is in expression '{!fieldlistmap_8[cq.Object_Map__c][cq.Field_Map__c]}' in component <apex:repeat> in page cnp_paas:cnp_settings_custom_question
    Organization is: Bicycle Federation of WIsconsin
    Organization ID: 00DU0000000Ir9P

    Access is granted for 1 week

    Two requests:

    - Please fix this specific error
    - Is there a way I can fix this error myself? I would like to keep this from happening in the future

    Good day @Chris_A,

    As requested we deleted the invalid entry and your setting works now. To resolve this issue we do the following:

    Step 1: Setup >> Build >> Create >> Tabs >> New

    Step 2: Select the Object as, "C&P Assigned Connections"

    Step 3: Select any tab style as it is not important considering it is a temporary measure and click Next

    Next screen click Next

    Save the App as "C&P Payment as Service" then click Save.

    Go to the Newly created tab:

    Click on "Go" to see all records in the object.

    Search for the record and delete the field that has been deleted manually outside the application.

    This process allows for seeing the data in the object. You are manually deleting a record that is being referenced which no longer exists since it was deleted after being mapped.

    Hope this helps with the process. As stated before it is a long process and that is why we do it for our clients if they delete a field without ensuring the field is not being used elsewhere.

    You may wish to delete the tab to avoid any confusions.
