  • Unable to find transaction in Connect

Transaction #1603151428167544298 appears in Salesforce as an opportunity, CnP Transaction, etc. However, when I search for it in Connect, I'm unable to locate it. Can you please help me research this?

    Thanks,
    Radha

    Good day!

Your transaction was a future date transaction with changed Credit Card. We fixed the view and now it shows.

Please check it again and let us know if we can be of more assistance.

      Thanks.

So if this is a preauth transaction, why isn't there a CnP Recurring object associated with it?

Also, I don't see anywhere that indicates when the charge will occur. Do you?

Just following up since I haven't received a reply ...

Why isn't there a recurring object associated with this preauth?

          Good day @Radha,

We were going to update this post shortly.

Pre-authorizations are not assigned to any specific transaction. They are a general request for updating a set record and as such not associated with the recurring. Once a transaction occurs with the recurring chain it will then be associated with the recurring.

          Hope that answers your question.

But normally, isn't there a recurring object with Installment period = None?

              Radha,

The entry will be created after the first payment. No such payment has occurred.

SO then, how can I determine the scheduled payment date for the preauth?

                  Good day!

Do you have an order number for us to review?

The authorization occurs and posts to Salesforce with the installment number as 0 but that will be used moving forward. There is not much else to do since the CC number is associated with a new linked recurring family.

What is the Order Number so we can review.
                  Regards,
