    The problem is Salesforce's Person Account is so different in architecture requiring complete re-write of major sections of our code. Of all of our clients 5 clients are on Person Accounts and adding the support typically adds about 50% more work delaying launches by over a month in some cases.

    Click & Pledge's platform is an elaborate set of tools & with the next release due out first quarter of next year we will have major integration with 4 platforms including Auctions for Salesforce and none of those support Person Account. It will be impossible to support Person Accounts and offer the products that are in the pipeline.

    The announcement was posted in the forum and the news section as well as the newsletter that went out prior to the release.

    If Salesforce was making it easier to support Person Accounts we would have done it and I am sure other companies on AppExchange would support it also. Person Account is not a standard configuration in Salesforce and one that is made by special request. Searching the appExchange will also show you the number of companies that support it - not many. It is all because of this reason.

    This is very sad to hear. As long time customers of Click & Pledge, we'd hate to have to move to a different platform. I hope you are able to analyze the prevalence of Person Accounts amongst your user base and will reconsider.

    For the most part - yes but certain features are not supported such as Pledge or Invoice.

    Over time we will no longer test against Person accounts and the new features will not work with Person Accounts.

    Sorry for the inconvenience. Way too complicated to support PA at the same time as the regular Contact / Account.

    Good day!

    We have upgraded your Donor Management but event we cannot since your account is a Person Account.

    Our event management is not compatible with Person Accounts and we have stopped supporting Person Accounts with 8.x since it was requiring double the development time and not used by many nonprofits. We announced this with the introduction of 8.x release.
