  • Error when opening CnP Settings --> Custom Mapping

We just upgraded to NPSP 3.x so I'm not sure if this is related....

Tried to check on the Custom Mapping configuration today. I was able to open the CnP Settings page, as well as every item in the left-hand menu. Except when I try to open up "Custom Mapping" I receive the following error message:

Map key Acknowledged__c not found in map Error is in expression '{!fieldlistmap_8[cq.CnP_PaaS__Object_Map__c][cq.CnP_PaaS__Field_Map__c]}' in component <apex:repeat> in page cnp_paas:cnp_settings_custom_question

    THanks for any help,
    Radha

    Good day @Radha,

    We fixed it for you.

You had a field that was first mapped in the C&P Settings and later deleted. C&P Settings could not find the record and as such was generating the error.

We deleted the field from the settings area manually so it works now.

Test it and let us know.

      WHich field specifically?

Post NPSP upgrade, I've found a number of things that the consultants did where I need to undo them. I may need to recover those fields.

Also, what piece of the configuration did you delete? I need to re-create that as well.

        Radha,

Look at the error: Map key Acknowledged__c not found in map Error is in expression '{!fieldlistmap_8[cq.CnP_PaaS__Object_Map__c][cq.CnP_PaaS__Field_Map__c]}' in component <apex:repeat> in page cnp_paas:cnp_settings_custom_question

        Acknowledged__c

        hope that helps.

I have the same error (see support request here). Is this only fixable by C&P support? Or can we fix this ourselves?

            Good day Chris,

This happens when you map a field in C&P Settings and then delete it manually. When coming to this page Salesforce throws an exception when we try to reference the field.

If you grant us login access we will go to the tab and delete it behind the scene. I can have one of our developers write the instructions so you can do it, if you feel brave enough.

              Good day @Chris_A,

This post is a duplicate of http://forums.clickandpledge.com/for...custom-mapping

It is a great help to us if you post the issues as one thread and not multiple posts. It makes it a bit hard to make sure all cases are answered.

The issue has been resolved per previous post.

Let us know if we can be of more assistance.
