  • Alias -- Copy to Contact button missing

    Hi there,

I have an end user -- Bri -- who can't see the "Copy to Contact" button on CnP Alias.

We've tried all the different CnP Permission sets but she still doesn't have the button.

Please take a look at my instance. And please make sure to check in with me before making any changes -- especially to our security and access settings.

You have login access to org #00Dd0000000i8lD

    Thanks,
    Radha

    Good day!

We added the permission set so please test it and let us know if that resolved the issue.

A new permission set was created for you to grant access to the right object for alias. Since this is s standard object, our packaged permission sets are not able to give permissions. Cases like this can only be addressed by a custom permission set designed for the specific case in the local instance.

Let us know if you need any additional assistance.

Hi there! I'm having the same issue - my user Elena P. can not see the "copy to contact" button when looking at the contact alias. Does a special permission set need to be created for her? I didn't quite follow the response from 2-10-16, above. Thanks very much! Our org ID is 00Do0000000I2hr and I've granted access. Thanks! Maggie

        Good day mzeldes44

The permission is not set correctly. Please go to the user in Salesforce and assign them the proper permission set. See below:

If you go to Salesforce Users > Select the User and scroll down the Permission Sets you will be able to see the ones we already have defined.

Please try it and let us know if you still have problem.
