  • Transaction Unsettled/Did Not Post to Salesforce

    Hello:

I've encountered a transaction error reading ""Insert failed. First exception on row 0; first error: FIELD_CUSTOM_VALIDATION_EXCEPTION, Please select a Preferred Phone: [npe01__PreferredPhone__c]" for three attempted transactions from a donor in Japan. My only guess is that this happened because the number of digits and format of the number are international and perhaps not recognized by the system.

I tried these fixes in Salesforce from a similar issue brought up in the forum listed below but that of course doesn't affect the Status of the order in Click and Pledge which is still blank.
The Payment platform for Salesforce. The payment platform is the required application for all other Salesforce apps.

Do I need to re-run the transaction with the donor or did these go through in Click and Pledge and simply didn't post to Salesforce?

Please let me know what additional info you need from me.

Just checking back to see if anyone on the support team has taken a look at this. I've granted access and our org ID is 00Di0000000iX2P.

      Good Day @ Virginia,

Thanks for granting access to us. We reviewed your instance and fixed the issues for the error C&P Data (having FIELD_CUSTOM_VALIDATION_EXCEPTION) by inactivating the validations over contacts i.e. ‘Contact_Preferred_Phone’ and re-process them. However, after fixing the errors we have re-activated the validation. We suggest you to inactivate the validations of Email and Phone over Contacts to avoid the same errors for your future transactions.

Please let us know if we can be of any further assistance.
      Regards,
      Click & Pledge Support Department
