One of our donors requested for the date of his recurring donation to be changed.
To achieve this, we did these 2 steps:
1. Cancel the recurring donation from the CNP's portal: Account Info > Reports > Recurring > Search Recurring Payment.
2. After doing that cancellation on CNP side, we requested for the user to re-sign up for the recurring donation with the new preferred date.
Instead of performing the above, can we not trouble the donor and perform step 2 ourselves?
If so, is it to be done in CNP, Salesforce, or both?
Also, which platform triggers the charging schedule - CNP or Salesforce?
