    Hi C&P Support -

    For at least a month now, I've been receiving daily (and sometimes multiple times a day), notifications that a Temporary Contact has been created for a donor of the exact same name that is clearly a fraud. The transaction is always declined and I delete the temp contact. The transactions no longer even appear on Connect, but still continue to create temporary contacts each time. What can I do to stop this nuisance? Thank you!

      Sorry for the late reply- this post was forwarded to our team for research.

      You have set the system to send you an email (notification) for each temporary contact. Please see below:

      and looking at the temp & declines we only see the following transaction:

      We also reviewed all declined transactions in your account since 12/1 and do not see anything suspicious.

      Do you have a specific order number or numbers that we can review? we are interested in seeing the ones you are referring to as fraud that are not caught as fraud.

        The account in question is currently in temporary contacts where I left it after it was created last time. The order # is 1509240341221454059.

          The name of the account and the amount are always identical, and the transaction is always declined. If I delete the temporary contact, it is just created again later that day, or a few days later.

          The photo you posted of a transaction is the one I am referring to.

            Good day!

            Oh! you are deleting the Temporary Contact & not the transaction. The maintenance is re-processing the C&P Data associated with it and that is why you keep seeing it.

            We will delete it for you but you can do it also by going to C&P Settings > Maintenance and enter the order number & delete it. As long as the C&P Data is there the system checks for inconsistencies and re-processes it every 3 hours.

            We will remove it for you.
