Middle Name Error - where there is no Middle Name on Record or Transaction

When attempting to Create Transaction, we get this error: ' No such column 'MiddleName' on entity 'Contact'. If you are attempting to use a custom field, be sure to append the '__c' after the custom field name. Please reference your WSDL or the describe call for the appropriate names.' On Carelle Temporary Transaction record. How do we fix this so we can process? ORG ID: 00Di0000000ftfv. Access already granted for 3 days for another error message we can't figure out. Thanks.
