I have just discovered a problem with our ability to change the SMTP setting of an autoresponder. First, some background. Several weeks ago, we missed an Order Confirmation email that was sent using our custom SMTP server. I identified that this email was triggered during a known period of outage on our SMTP server (side issue: why doesn't it retry periodically like email sent from a typical client?). So I changed the Autoresponder to use Click&Pledge. Last week we had another failed Order Confirmation email, so I did a little digging. Even though the Autoresponder settings on the C&P Settings tab shows that the SMTP setting is Click&Pledge, when I go to the C&P Autoresponder Detail View, it shows that it is really using our custom SMTP server. I have tried several times since, and with every attempt, it does the same thing regardless whether the old setting is custom SMTP or Salesforce. The C&P Settings show Click&Pledge, and the C&P Autoresponder Detail View shows our custom SMTP or blank (Salesforce).
For clarity, the C&P Autoresponder Detail View is the page that I get after clicking on the Responder Name in the C&P PAAS Autoresponder Log.
