  • Custom Mapping Error

    We are getting the error message below when attempting to get into the Custom Mapping section within the CNP Salesforce App. Can you advise how to address this and correct it, please? Thanks!

    Map key Newsletter__c not found in map
    Error is in expression '{!fieldlistmap_8[cq.Object_Map__c][cq.Field_Map__c]}' in component <apex:repeat> in page cnp_paas:cnp_settings_custom_question

    Has this field been deleted? Newsletter__c

    it seems like you had mapped a field that is not there anymore. When you are going to that page it tries to map the field and it is no longer there so Salesforce crashes.

    Please grant us login access so we delete it manually from the object.

      That field wasn't deleted recently, so not sure why this is happening now. The field that looks like it is mapping from the Donor Form is the field below. I've granted access; can you fix it to map to the below field instead? Thanks!

          We have resolved the issue as requested. Please check your instance & verify.

          You are not at the latest release. Please let us know if you wish to be upgraded. Since we no longer have access we need to have access to upgrade you if you wish to be upgraded.

            Thanks, now we are getting this error. Don't know where fields Object map_c or field map_c are or were. Can you send a list of the custom questions to me so I can check them? Appreciate it.

            Also, we were just upgraded to the latest release recently by this team, but I have granted access again to be upgraded again. Please let me know when we are at the latest release and what release it is, thanks.

              Based on the evidence a field that was mapped in the Opportunity Map has been deleted after mapping. The deleted fields are in the deleted list as shown above.

              Please make sure that fields that are mapped are not deleted as they can cause major havoc in the system. Before deleting a field make sure they are removed from the mapped section.

              The following fields were deleted after mapping:
              • Type__c - (1 map)
              • Newsletter__c (2 maps)

              The C&P Settings > Custom Question now works.
