    I have completed the post installation for my sandbox and have set the match criteria to semi-automatic, matching on first name, last name and email address. Each time I enter a new donations I am creating a temporary contact, even though my criteria matches. I did notice that I am not creating a C&P Contact alias. The org id is 00DZ000000MjMMH and you have access to the org. Thank you for your help.

    I viewed the C&P Temporary Contact and it is blank. No Temps are there.

    Would you please do a transaction and leave the record in C&P Temp so I can review it.

        Good day @Laure,

        Interesting case. Would you test it again and let me know if it works.

        We reviewed the object and noticed the settings were not saved. We saved the page again and now it is saved. We have noticed that in rare instances during the installation process certain objects are not saved, which in itself does not make sense but appears to be a glitch in the Salesforce upgrade engine.

        The conditions are now saved so please test it and let me know.

          I retested and the match is now working as expected. I am not creating a temporary contact. A C&P Contact alias is not being created. Should it be? Thanks for your help. I did save the settings several times. How did you determine that it was not saved?

            Good day!

            We reviewed the data in the setting object and it was not there. It works now . so that is great.

            An alias is only created if any of the data is different. Is any of the data in the new temp record different from the old contact?
