  • Developer script exception: 'CnP_PaaS.EmailSender'

    Hi,

I deactivated an SF admin and I received a few emails overnight stating the below:

Apex script unhandled exception by user/organization: 005A00000029wvs/
    00DA0000000Ckg4

Failed to invoke future method 'public static void MailingProcess(Integer)' on class 'CnP_PaaS.EmailSender' for job id '707A000002L0oMO'

I have narrowed it down to an Apex class Scheduled Job that was created by the inactive user, however I have no way of knowing which Apex Class is being used.

    Please help me understand:

    1) What does this scheduled apex class accomplish?
    2) How can I prevent receiving such an error and ensure complete functionality?

I have provided login access to C&P Support so that you may investigate my setup.

    Thank you,
    Adam

    Good day!

We resolved the issue by deleting the job whose owner was disabled. The job will be automatically created if needed in the future.

Please let us know if we can be of any further assistance.

      One more point.

We have noticed that you are using multiple sites for your events. Please use the events site as your default site as that is the one with the proper post-installation permissions.

In the current release only one site may be used for all events.

Please let us know if we can be of any further assistance.

          Good day!

To find out which sites you are using please go to each event and look at the URL:

in the above case you are using: https://qsac.secure.force.com/msctraining

Your sites are listed in the Settings > Sites

For all things Click & Pledge we recommend using only one site. In general we recommend calling the site "default" so the same site may be used for images, invoices, etc.

The URL is quite hidden and having the word event, training, etc. truly does not make any difference as the event is identified by its ID.

We recommend that you leave all existing events alone and do not make any changes as the links are probably used in various links. All future events should use the "events" page as is set in the Default settings (shown below).

I hope that answers your question.
