  • Access to the Item Campaign or Payment for from C&P Designer

    We enter a lot of our transactions manually in SF as a C&P Transaction. We set the add an item and set the Item Campaign since we have a number of people who give to more than one Campaign. The transactions get the Primary Campaign set in the Donation record (Opportunity) in SF.

    We would like to use the C&P autoresponder to send receipts when the C&P Transaction, but the Item Campaign is not available in the C&P Designer. It also appears not to even be available in the C&P Transaction. Shouldn't the C&P Transaction Campaign get set to that item campaign when multiple items are entered in the Virtual Terminal in SF? The system automatically creates a transaction for each item, but the campaign on the C&P record isn't set.

    Is there some way to either get the C&P Transaction Campaign set in this scenario or make the item campaign information available in C&P Designer?

      We have reviewed your post and discussed it at length internally. Sorry for the late reply as we wanted to cover all angles before answering it.
      • Campaign: Autoresponder fires for Transaction campaign and NOT the item campaign.
      • SKU: Autoresponder will fire for any matching SKU and that naturally means items in the basket.

      You may want to use SKU for sending item autoresponders.

      We will consider adding matching item campaigns in a future release.

        I was just hoping to avoid creating a rule per SKU as we have about 20 different projects we collect for.
