  • Salesforce + C&P Mapping Patron:Email

    I am having trouble with how C&P information is getting mapped int our Salesforce reports.
    Patron: Email is NOT showing up under my donation reports in Salesforce. Kam helped me with this in the past, but it has stopped working. They are there for older donations, but not for more recent ones.

    Good day!

    Would you please grant us login access and the order # for a case that has worked and one that has not worked so we can review. This will help us figure out the issue you are having.

    Also are you referring to Kamran as the one has helped you before? We do not have anyone named "Kam".

        We also need the order number for the transaction you are referring to as well as the report name.

          The report is called "C&P Sample" and an order number is 15911011297463514316.

            Good day!

            This is indeed strange. The email is there but the report is not showing it. Two of our developers reviewed it and could not figure out what the issue is. It is a Salesforce report problem .. we are wondering if it is a permission or access issue such that the user doing this may not have. We are not sure.

            You may want to submit a support ticket with Salesforce. It is a strange case.

              Hi Lauren ,

              As discussed over the phone today we discussed about the report over the gotomeeting. I informed you that if the contact is set to be the primary contact on the donation then the email would display on the report.

              However since the contacts are attached to the donation on the related list : contact role , via the third party application Click and Pledge , I requested you to contact their support team and let them know that the primary checkbox needs to be set to true .

              Since we have limited access to their code and configuration , we cannot modify the inflow of data from the app to salesforce.

              If you still have any further queries for us, feel free to post a comment on this case and we will contact you to assist you or if not let us know if we can close this ticket.

                Good day!

                As Salesforce support has indicated there are no primary contacts assigned your campaigns. If you want to assign the contact role as the primary role then see the image below:

                If you check the box as shown above then the Contact Role will be set to Primary for the opportunity. Currently those contacts are not primary and the report you are referring to is a report of primary contacts and as such not showing. Salesforce support's comment relates to this setting.
