  • Virtual terminal not responding in salesforce

I use the virtual merchant in Sales Force to process payments. I attempted a transaction yesterday and today and the terminal page is not responding. I keep getting an error message saying that the page is not responding check the web address. I have done nothing different to Sales Force or CNP. Please help I have a backlog of payments and need to process them through Sales Force and not the back end of CNP.

      Good day!

      Any update on this?

We are retiring the release 3.x of our application which dates back to 2012. Currently we are on version 8.x and the Virtual Terminal is now native in the application whereas before it was an iframe through our servers.

To ensure our clients are aware of the retirement we stopped the iframe a week ago and I am just wondering if you are still in version 3.x and that is why you are getting the error.

Please see: http://forums.clickandpledge.com/showthread.php?t=1386 -- The retirement was announced October of last year and was extended several times. On May 1 the system will be taken offline.

Please let us know if you are still on version 3.x and we will help you with the migration to 8.x release.

We are a small non-profit with no IT capacity using Cnp with sales force. How will I know when I can upgrade my Cnp? also is their another vendor option other than transfirst? We spent 3,000 last year on merchant fees.

          Good day!

We send emails regarding all new releases but in the forum you may subscribe to the News forum for all the latest updates & release notes. Here is the link: http://forums.clickandpledge.com/forumdisplay.php?f=25

In the forum simply go to the forum tools as shown below and subscribe to the News forum.

As for the gateways - we use Transfirst exclusively in US. The rate being charged is all inclusive of all products with Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. The AmEx rate alone, in most cases is over 3.5% and in our case it is all inclusive in your rate with one price. I might be looking at the wrong information but for 2013 your effective rate is less than 2.5%. Please note that Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and AmEx each have their own fees that are outside the rate but those are quite small such as network fees, storage fees, and some other misc. fees that are small and are considering standard non-discount fees. Those are the same no matter what gateway you use.

The rate you pay is all inclusive of all of our products including Salesforce, Connect, Events, Swiper1, etc. etc. - all products are based on your transaction processing.

By the way- any reason why you have not started your Connect site? https://connect.clickandpledge.com/O...hildrenschoir/

it appears that it is not yet set up.
