    Hi- Is there a way to pull in Contact Alias info into Autoresponder receipts? Since the receipts get sent immediately upon Opportunity creation, which happens immediately upon processing the Temp Contact, there isn't a chance for any of the address, email, or phone info to be updated from the Alias by hand before the autoresponder sends. If it merges in any Contact info, there is a chance it isn't correct. I don't see any link to the Alias fields on Autoresponder setup up.

    In a related question-- is there also a way to pull in Recurring gift info (installment amount & interval) for sending a receipt when a recurring gift is first established-- a receipt that says what the donor has committed to giving ($10/mo, for example)? Thanks!

    Good day!

    Currently the only information that is used from the posted data is the email address. The rest of the data comes from the Contact record and as such requires the person to become a contact prior to having the email. This will change in release 10 as autoresponders may be set to use the posted data or the Contact record. If the posted data is being used the designer cannot use any of the Contact fields as those fields will not available. As stated this will be available in release 10 due out 2016-Q1.

    The recurring information is available and is automatically added to the item list. Recurring donations will trigger a set of fields in the item list without any customization.

      Hi- Thank you. I look forward to that upgrade. For now I've set it to not send autoresponders for 24 hours in the hopes that the staff will have had time to update any contact info from the Alias (It's not new contacts that are the issue but those that need their address info updated via the Alias so that it's correct in the contact before the merged info goes out via autoresponder.)

      As for recurring-- I don't see any recurring info in the C&P Designer list of Merge fields, except "Number of Recurrings" which isn't really useful here, so I can't merge the Recurring info into receipts like "x& per month". Screenshot attached. Am I missing a step? Thanks!

        Recurring is not an annotation you may drag in the designer. The "Item list" will automatically show the recurring information if the payment is recurring.

        We can add individual parameters in a future release but there is really no need as the system will automatically show it at the bottom of the item list if the payment is recurring.

          Hi- I'm sorry, I'm confused. I don't know what an Item List is. I don't see anything called item list on my designer screen.

          The reason we use designer is to make "prettier" emails than the generic Click & Pledge response email, so being able to merge in info into a sentence is kind of handy. We can work around it if need be, but I still don't see a way to even list the recurring info. If you can point me to this Item List, I can test that. Thanks!

            The grid that has the OrderItem will display the recurring information if the payment is recurring.

              Hi, Is a grid my only option? Is there anyway to get the same information that shows up on the "generic" click & pledge receipts: "This is a recurring payment.
              Your card will be charged $5.00 every Year until 8/10/2026" Or is that what appears in the grid? For receipts that are meant to look like personal emails, the grid is a bit problematic. Thanks.

                Currently you only have that option. I guess in the future we can add a bullet list as well as an option but currently grid is the only option.
