Editing Settings for Opportunity Names

Hello:

Is it possible to edit the settings for automatically generated Opportunity Name field? We have other opportunities such as event registrations and book sales that we would like to code accordingly if possible.

Any insight would be much appreciated - Thanks!

Opportunity names may be changed dynamically based on SKU. If you SKU you can change most of its attributes in real time once it posts to Salesforce.
