Getting error message when using CnP Terminal

In trying to enter a cash gift for an event, I'm getting this error in the terminal... "Upsert failed. First exception on row 0; first error: FIELD_CUSTOM_VALIDATION_EXCEPTION, You may not edit a Posted donation.: []" I don't see anything in what I'm sending that is showing a posted gift (it is a brand new account and gift). Any idea what is going on?

Yes but it is when I use the CnP Virtual Terminal when it happens.

I am assuming that you are on Salesforce so I moved this post from its initial channel to Salesforce which seems to be the platform with the issue.

Your error: FIELD_CUSTOM_VALIDATION_EXCEPTION

This error indicates that you have a validation rule that you have set up on a specific field. When we try to take an action Salesforce is returning error stating the validation rule is failing.

Have you added any validation rules to the Account, Contact, or the Opportunity object?

This is not a C&P error and is purely in Salesforce.

If you wish for us to review your account and find the validation rule that is causing this please grant us access so we can login to your account.

the two that are marked with arrows are the ones that are generating the error. Those are custom validations that are created by you or someone at your organization.
