Hi,
I am doing a data import into our new SF instance and it seems that 'file1.csv' always gets this error:
Warning:Please select correct format file
However, 'file2.csv' and 'file3.csv' worked just fine. I unzipped the initial 'SalesforceReport' file and all files were imported except 'file1.csv'. I can't figure out how something is wrong with that file and nothing was wrong with 'file2.csv' and 'file3.csv'.
Here are some steps I tried to remedy the problem:
1. Thinking it might be a size issue, I broke down the export from the account portal by year, and then again by 6 month intervals, instead of doing one big export and still all files titled 'file1.csv' got the same error as listed above.
2. I tried renaming the file. I still got the same error listed above.
3. I also tried saving the file as a MS-DOS csv file.....and still got the same error.
Please help. It's going to be a long weekend weeding through all the temporary contacts that have been made, but it is 'forcing' me to clean up our dupes, so I can't be mad at that. (smile) It's worth it to have a cleaned out instance that will only have NPSP and CnP....maybe a few other apps after I get all of this working correctly.
Thank you,
