We cannot change/alter payments recorded in Nonprofit Starter Pack/Salesforce after someone makes payment through C+P. For example, we have a member who pays $500. Of this $500, $400 needs to be applied to 2014's membership and $100 needs to be applied to 2013's remaining balance. Can you suggest a solution or workaround for this?

Good day!
I am not sure how we can do this. I can see this being done with the upcoming release 8.0 with allocations. That also creates a single opportunity and then allocations may be done through the GL.
I guess what you need is to break the opportunity into 2 opportunities, one for $400 and one for $100.
Please elaborate more so I can have a better understanding as to what you wish to accomplish- split the opportunity?Regards,
