  • Opportunity Creation from C&P Data

We have been transitioning a client from one instance of Salesforce to a newly created one and are using Click & Pledge for all of their transactions. We've experienced breaks in data transfer from C&P to SF due to various issues including exceeding the data storage in SF or a user resetting their password and thus losing the original Security Token.

What's the simplest way to create opportunities in Salesforce with C&P Transactions that are in SF without a donation?

Additionally, is there a way to identify opportunities that are still waiting to be "Pushed to Salesforce" within the C&P portal?

    Good day!

Pushing error'd transactions to Salesforce: Please let us know the Click & Pledge account number and we can batch push all your failed transactions. The only way (as of this moment) for you to push this is by knowing which transactions have failed and finding them in the report section and pushing them one by one. Post the account number and we can do it for you - it will be faster.

As for uploading the data to SF - have you tried using our C&P Importer?

Is this function something that can be anticipated with the new release?

I've tried the C&P Importer; however, the issue is as you stated: I'd have to know the transactions that failed or need to be created. And then, I'm curious if there's a function to create the opportunity from the imported data similar to how the opportunity is created when the C&P data comes into SF without errors?

I wanted to follow up on the status this request. Yesterday, we identified a transaction that had been waiting to be pushed to the portal since the middle of the year.

I wanted to follow-up on the batch push of the failed transactions. It doesn't appear that that has occurred just yet. And do you anticipate this is going to be a function with the new release? It would be helpful to have that capability to identify through a report or query and pushed transactions that haven't made it to Salesforce yet.

              Good day!

We need to discuss this through a support session. The data appears to have been posted and if we post them again you will get a duplicate error.

Would you please submit a ticket to the help desk (http://help.clickandpledge.com) and reference this post. We will arrange to discuss this over the phone to ensure the post is correct. We really don't want to create duplicates and further errors.
