After upgrading to 7.3006 a few months ago, existing recurring gifts that had been processing correctly started coming in attached to the wrong contact. They would come in connected to a contact with the same first & last name that has, otherwise no connection. This isn't an issue with merged or deleted contacts, in fact they're easy to find because the Contact ID on the parent Recurring record is correct, and doesn't match the contact id on the C&P transaction. We find the contact with the same id as the id on the original recurring and edit the opportunity to the correct contact. We have to manually find and correct over 50 of these a month. This started happening immediately after the upgrade to 7.3006.
I see that there is a new upgrade with some bug fixes related to matching recurring gifts, will this address our issue? We are in fully-automatic mode due to our web integration specifics, so our case isn't related to temporary contacts which seems to be part of the issue others have reported.
