Passing on transaction processing fee

Hello,

For our nonprofit clients, they would like to give the option to donors/event registrants to pass on the transaction processing amount to the donor. Is this available, and if so, how/where would we set this up? I see that we can enter a fee for each event registration level, but they would like to make this an option for the person making the purchase, not a mandatory fee.

Good day @Celia:

This feature violates Visa & MasterCard regulations and mandates. I understand that some sites allow for this feature but we are adhering to the regulations.

The feature is offered in the virtual terminal which an organization may set but in the public site we don't allow for this feature and cannot be added.
