• Simple donate for for my website to integrate with Salesforce

Does anyone have a donate form template that I can add to my website? Something that integrates with Salesforce Opportunities of coarse. I am using the Salesforce Notprofit starter pack and my web framework is Wordpress.

It would save me a lot of work. Hopefully I can just plug in my api info and go. That would be too easy I'm sure.

Ideally I would like these fields.
-Choice of one Time or Recurring.
-Amount
-Contact Info:
Name, Addresses, Phone, Email.
-Note box
-Pre populated checkbox to subscribe to Mailchimp.

*I would like a place in the code to be able to assign the Opportunity Record to a specific user and also assign a Campaign to the Opportunity Record.

Any helpers out there?

We also have a client services department that can develop the form for you. There is cost associated with it and we will host it for free. The forms are designed to be iFramed within your site. We can also create the form so you can natively include it in WordPress.

Let us know if we can be of any help.

Thanks. That gives me some options. If you have a services department that may be the way to go.

I had a programmer develop a form that I am able to add in any page on any of my wordpress installs with individual settings in each form. We have several installs under 1 domain. It is already integrated with Salesforce and it has options for me to add the record owner and the campaign it is associated with. The form already does the matching contacts by Name and email and it creates a single opportunity or a recurring opportunity. The payment gateway is Authorize.net. That is my main issue. We would like it to be Transfirst. Can your programmers just change the payment gateway so that all of my payments go through Click and Pledge/Transfirst but keep everything else the same? Please contact me to chat further about details. Appreciate the help. Thanks.

Good day Nina,

Each gateway has its own API and forms need to be set up to match the API so it is not possible to change a line and have it point to another gateway. Each field needs to be named per the API being used.

If you send us the link to your form we can change the form and keep its layout.

Regardless of the approach we have to reprogram it.

Let me know if you wish for the client services to contact you regarding the form and pricing.

Thanks for the info. I was looking at Wordpress plugins and there is one for Click and Pledge / Salesforce that uses CiviCRM. Going through the install. Have a few questions. Would you be able to check settings for me I if i send you login info?

The first step was to install CiviCRM 4.3

1) During the install it asked me for a new db name and password. I created a new db and user. I updated the folders to be writable that it listed. There was a folder that didn't exist that I had to create. /plugins/files.

2) It says to locate and back up wp-content/plugins/civicrm/civicrm.settings.php. That file doesn't exits. I found one in templates/CRM/common.

3) Does the CiviCRM program keep all of our data within wordpress? Or does our click and pledge integration connect it all to Salesforce only?

4) I went through the check list and left everything as default.

5) I installed the C&P extension

6) Processor payment for test details. Is there a test processor I can be using when I test all transactions?

7) For the financial account is it: Deposit bank account or Payment processor account?

8) We are already using the iframe code from Salesforce for our events. Do I still need to do anything with those settings in Wordpress?

9) I setup the payment processor and a contribution page. When I went to the Links--> Live page it gave me an error.

Sorry but we are not able to provide this at the moment.A payment processor must be selected for this contribution page (contact the site administrator for assistance).

Any assistance would be helpful. If there is a better way that you think would meet my needs better I would be open to whatever works. Basically I need contribution pages that can be easily posted on any page with my Child themes as well. With the ability to add a Campaign name.

Thanks so much!

created a single contribution page but it is giving me an error when I try to view it.

Good day Nina,

We have reviewed your installation & fixed the issues causing the problem. Answers to your questions follows:

3) Does the CiviCRM program keep all of our data within wordpress? Or does our click and pledge integration connect it all to Salesforce only?

REPLY: CiviCRM uses its own database. All data is maintained in CiviCRM. When a transaction posts to Click & Pledge for processing the payment information and authorization record will be posted to your Salesforce instance. The data in the CiviCRM has no business being in Salesforce.

6) Processor payment for test details. Is there a test processor I can be using when I test all transactions?

REPLY: You may used the Test mode for testing transactions. See the manual: http://manual.clickandpledge.com/CiviCRM-WordPress.html#Test_Contribution_Setup
Please make sure to revert back to Production when finished with testing.

7) For the financial account is it: Deposit bank account or Payment processor account?

REPLY The 'Financial Account' you select depends on your organization's accounting practices.

8) We are already using the iframe code from Salesforce for our events. Do I still need to do anything with those settings in Wordpress?

REPLY: No- the 2 are independent.

9) I setup the payment processor and a contribution page. When I went to the Links--> Live page it gave me an error.

REPLY: This issue has been fixed by resolving your installation errors. You had missed setting up amounts in contribution page. See the image:

Thank you for getting this fixed for me. I am hopful that this is going to work great. Love the widget also. Question about the Campaign instruction though.

It says personal Campaign but I'm not sure how that ties into the Campaigns that I have in Salesforce. I don't really want a campaign page on my website I just want the Contribution to be tied to the Campaign when it hits Salesforce.

Can you give me some additional direction on this?

Thanks again!

Nina,

Campaigns are sent as part of the Transaction. If the campaign name (text) matches a campaign name (text) you have in Salesforce the transaction will post to that campaign. If the campaign is not found it will create a new campaign.

Hope that helps.

Is there a way I can set custom fields in Salesforce when the opportunity/donation posts to Salesforce? Or is the only way to use the Campaign name in conjunction with workflows? Are there any Click and Pledge settings in Salesforce? SKU's? Anything?

Thanks.

Also, in the receipt settings there is a box for personalizing the text, although it says Enter a message you want included at the beginning of emailed receipts. NOTE: This text will be included in both TEXT and HTML versions of receipt emails so we do not recommend including HTML tags / formatting here. Where is the html version of the receipt that this note is talking about?

Again thanks for your help.

I have yet another question... I have several WP sites under my primary. When i switch to the admin panel for those domains and activate the CiviCRM plugin and then try to add a new payment processor, Administrator--> system settings--> payment processor, It takes me back to the main domain payment processor settings. For example I have mydomain.com and I have another site under mydomain.com/Hawaii and mydomain.com/NorCal. I manage all of them within my main wp admin install. Do i need to add an additional Payment processor with it's own Click and Pledge account info under the primary install? And if so, where do I choose which donation page uses which payment processor?

Thanks again...

Good day Nina,

I am sorry but I can't understand the following question:

"Is there a way I can set custom fields in Salesforce when the opportunity/donation posts to Salesforce? Or is the only way to use the Campaign name in conjunction with workflows? Are there any Click and Pledge settings in Salesforce? SKU's? Anything?"

If you are asking about CiviCRM and its ability to ask questions during the payment process I believe the answer is No. CiviCRM does not have custom questions in the payment form and therefore we can't pass them to Salesforce as part of the transaction record.

Please let me know if we can be of any further assistance.

Reply: This is a CiviCRM issue and not one that we can support. Click & Pledge integrates with a large number of open source solutions and we are not fully versed in all these applications. I can gladly answer any questions you may have regarding our integration and module but not about CiviCRM and its behavior or functionality.

Please let me know if we can be of any help with the Click & Pledge module.

Ok thanks. This question may fall into the same boat but with the C&P integration to the CiviCRM it doesn't give me a choice of what cards to accept. It takes the settings from my C&P account I suspect. Do you know if I can take echecks through the CiviCRM? I can do it when I use my C&P event manager in Salesforce so I know those payments are enabled in my C&P account.

I will search for more help with the CiviCRM. If you have any suggested please let me know.

Thanks.
