Common Ground / Convio

Hi there.

I am working as a SFDC Admin with a non-profit that needs to move off the Convio/Common Ground Enterprise platform. I am planning to set them up with SFDC and Click and Pledge for their online and recurring donations.

Thought I'd check here to see if anyone in the forum has done a similar sunset and has any advice/suggestions?

Hi Angela, the company I work for, KELL Partners, is a Click & Pledge partner and we have experience moving nonprofits off of Common Ground/Common Ground Enterprise on to Nonprofit Starter Pack and Click & Pledge. You mentioned that you were using Common Ground Enterprise. Were you using Luminate Online for your online gifts or something else? Your biggest challenge is going to be in moving recurring gifts. Depending on what online solution you were using, you may not have access to the token that ties the Common Ground recurring gift to the credit card details stored somewhere that's not in Common Ground (no credit card details are ever stored in Salesforce).

Good luck...Common Ground is big and getting it out is a big project, but in the end you'll be much happier (and you'll save the monthly per-seat fees you're paying).
