Update contact/payment information in Salesforce

I have a Click & Pledge application that is connected to Salesforce. I am looking to update a user's recurring payment information programmatically. I have found forums stating that a recurring payment cannot be updated or cancelled through APIs.

Is it possible to cancel a recurring payment through Salesforce?

Can I update the recurring payment amount in Salesforce?

Can I update the Contact's email address through Salesforce and have it propagate to C&P? What is the risk of updating a Contacts email address in Salesforce - will the future C&P transactions still be connected to the same user?

REPLY: Not currently. It is a future feature release but not currently available.

REPLY: No- there is no talk back from Salesforce to our portal.

REPLY: No- this won't work. A recurring is a replicated order and nothing about it may be changed. It is simply the same order with all same information that will replicate over and over again. If you want to update someone's email simply add the old email to their Alias. If you are set for Semi-Automatic the system will find them and if it does not find it the contact will be put in the Temporary Contact and you may merge it later. If you add the old email to the Alias record it will always be found.
