  • Error in mapping custom questions

I am attemping to add custom question mapping in Salesforce. In checkout, donors may select a thank-you gift or decline. I am attempting to map the responses in the appropriate field. I receive the following error "Duplication Found. Please change the Object/Field map". Since I am checking for several possible answers to the same question, how do I enter this into mapping?

    Good day!

The image you have sent covers part of the fields and I can't see what is behind the message.

the error occurs when all fields are the same, namely the same SKU, Object name, question are the same.

Since you have added a lot of cases it seems like the error occurred when you added the last one. Would you please use a clean screen shot of the last page before you get the error or move the error message to somewhere else on the screen.

Here's another screen shot. The error occurs when I try to save the second Custom Question Map Field Setting.

        Peter,

I was confused about if the issue is with the top section or the bottom section of the page.

We will add the case you are trying to implement in the next release (8.0) due out towards the end of the second quarter. In this release we run a uniqueness test on the question. What you are trying to do makes sense and we should change the uniqueness to be for Question > Answer > Object > Field. Those 4 have to be unique. We may even remove the uniqueness test completely and leave the check to the end user to make sure existing data is not overwritten.

Sorry for now you can't use the same question twice.
