We assigned a credit card transaction to the wrong Contact in Salesforce (i.e., the correct card was charged, but affiliated with the wrong Contact in the eVT).

I have modified the Opportunity to the correct related Account and cleaned up my Contact Roles, but how many places do I need to clean this up from the C&P side?

    Thanks, Amanda

      Amanda,

The following are the objects you need to be concerned about:

      Mandatory with all transactions:
      • Transaction
      • Opportunity

      If it applies:
      • Recurring
      • Custom Questions
      • Contact Roles

The above objects are the only ones affected by Contact.

Please let us know if we can be of any further assistance.

what about the C&P Contact Alias (related list on Contact)- should I just delete it from the wrong Contact? Do I need to re-create on the right one? I also noticed that Contact has a field called "
cnp_paas__id__c". Should I be concerned about a value there?

          Amanda,

The Contact Alias is another object but not part of the transaction.

Yes- if you have created it then simply delete it. It is a stand alone object.

& don't worry about id__c field it is for internal use only.
