  • 404 Error from PaaS

We have a VB.NET application trying to submit a transaction through PaaS, but we are getting a 404 error. We submitted a ticket, but haven't heard back yet. C&P was granted account access to our SF environment last week, so we would like some progress on this issue. Ticket was submitted by Gyula Balazs on May 10.

      Good day seedsysdev

Support does not assist with custom code as that requires developers to review your instance. Please always post your development questions to the forum.

You have posted this to the Salesforce Donor Management which is not related to any custom development code. Is this question related to Salesforce or just the API?

Sorry this is confusing. We have to know what application is being used and where the form is to review and determine which group can help.

That's fine if support doesn't review development code, but why wouldn't they respond to say that and advise that we post in the forum? Why just leave us hanging with no response?

I don't know what category you would put this under, but it is a custom application that is interacting with the PaaS API. The application is a custom desktop app, not a website. We have it interacting properly with a Salesforce API, so I would think that it could interact with the C&P API as well.

I believe that our XML is properly formatted, but we tried submitting the XML from the sample program as well and still received a 404 error. Please advise the best way for having the code reviewed.

        Thank you!

          Good day seedsysdev

They would email you as I am sure they are trying to figure out the issue. The forum comes to the developer team so as such we review it for you.

Do you have a transaction order number that we can review its XML?

BTW: I moved this post to the API Class Library in Salesforce channel.

Thank you for your help. There was no transaction number created because the request did not get that far. We received a 404 error before any transaction. The XML that we attempted to submit is below:

XML is attached. It may be formatted easier this way than straight on the forum page.

                Good day seedsysdev

                Are you aware of: https://verify.paas.cloud.clickandpledge.com/

I tested your XML and it worked when I changed your CC expiration year which is set to 2015. Once I changed it to 2020 it worked.

So you are saying that when you post this XML through the Salesforce Class Library it returns error?
