Ability to Just Update a Credit Card Expiration Date

It would be great if you could add the ability to simply update the expiration date for a credit card. Sometimes the card number doesn't change, but the expiration date does. If we had the option to simply update the expiration date, we could email our donors just to ask for that. If we need to get all the information again (credit card number, cvv, etc.), we have to call them because of security.

I wouldn't think it would be too difficult to implement, since that data must be stored somewhere in the C&P backend. If there was an option for change payment method to just add a new expiration date to an existing card, that would be amazing.

This is a feature on our roadmap, although we do not have an ETA.

Your Propay account does include a feature called EnsureBill, which will automatically update expiration dates on cards for card issuing companies that participate. This doesn't appear to be the majority of expiring cards, but does help some.
