Most of the time when we use C&P Invoice we already have an Opportunity Record created which has data & attachments relating to correspondence (ie, payment reminders, invoice dates, etc.). When we create the invoice it creates a new Opportunity Record and orphans the original Opportunity Record with all of the correspondence. We then have to manually merge the two Opportunity Records. It would be great if we could somehow map the original Opportunity Record to the Invoice so that when the Invoice is paid online it updates that original Opportunity Record instead of creating a new one.
