Simple registration for one guest only

My organization has a lot of events where people don't bring guests (they're scientific/professional in nature), for which a one-page registration form is strongly desired. We'd love a variant of the anonymous registration where the quantity and registration level are hard-coded by the event manager. That is, the user would only ever see the page to input their information, not the initial page to select a quantity of tickets. Some of our constituents have difficulty with the "select 1, press continue, enter your information" workflow as we work with a lot of older and international folks as well as busy executives.
