  • Zero ticket registration levels

Is there anyway in a new release that levels could be setup that shows no tickets for the registration number? We like to sell program ads that have no tickets involved for the same event where we do sell tickets. I'm having to do all sorts of tricks and disclaimers to say that the registrant doesn't get a ticket, even though the level shows "1", the lowest level of tickets that can be purchased at a given level. I would much rather that all levels for an event were in the same place than to create separate buttons for these types of levels.

    Good day!

"no tickets for registration number".. not sure I understand what you mean.

If you are referring to the column in the registration page you may easily hide it. Will that not work?

If this is not what you are asking please elaborate further.

Not exactly... as I understand it, doing that will lose the column entirely and we have tickets and table levels where I want to show that column and how many tickets people get for them.

What I mean is this... I want to have those levels plus a set of levels where registering doesn't mean you are buying a ticket... just that you are buying an ad in the program. Those levels I want to have "0" show up in the Registrations Included column.

Separate but related point... removing that column would not stop CnP from asking for an Attendee Name. There is no attendee in this instance, just a registrant.

          Good day!

If that is what you want why not use Anonymous event? With Anonymous event we do not ask for the person's information and only ask for quantity.

          Why does that not work?

Because I need the event to not be anonymous in order to trick CnP into putting a Table Number onto a ticket post registration using the Attendee Role field. That's a whole other problem (not being able to include a table number on a ticket). These two issues cause me the most problems with CnP. It's a wonderful product, but solving these problems would be an unbelievable time saver.

              Good day!

The table registration is in the next release due out later this year. It has been worked on but not yet ready for release.

So many features so little time. We are getting there. With every request the system becomes more robust addressing more needs and at the same time more complex. I guess that is evolution.

Sorry for the inconvenience. I see your point and we will include it in the update.

No problem... that's why I mentioned the issue. CnP is very good at making updates. This (zero ticket registration) would be a good one. Thanks.
