It was suggested that I make a feature request here about limited permission sets for Event Management.
There are a few scenarios that would help me out (in order of personal preference):
1. User can view (not create or modify) only certain events of an administrator's choosing
2. User can view (not create or modify) all events
3. User can view and modify only certain events of an administrator's choosing
Wondering what you think of these! Even if it is not possible, that would allow me to take alternative action.
Bit more about the use case: my organization uses a volunteer force that is planning events. They would like to be able to see the registration data to monitor their progress. Ideally, they could also manage their own event, but that's not a frequent need. Currently, they can get an email notification when a registration comes in but can't get a summary view.
