  • Temporary Contacts does not pull the proper suggestions

    Hello,

Our organization, AVODAH, uses the Temporary Contacts feature for all donations. I review each donation and match it up to the proper record. About 2-3 days ago, I started to notice that when I pull in any temporary contact, Salesforce is no longer trying to pull records that could match the donor. Rather, it's pulling very random records that do not make any sense. I'm having to manually search for the record and match it up that way.

Is there any way to fix this?

    Thanks!

    Good day!

This could be a mapping issue in the C&P Settings > Contacts & Accounts.

Please grant us login access so we review your account.

        Good day @TMartell,

You are mapping the Email field to a field other than "Email". The Temporary Contact checks the email.

Please change this to "Email" field and it will be fixed. In release 10.x we are going to support other emails such as "Personal Email" but for now the "Email" is the one supported.

This is in C&P Settings > Contacts & Accounts -- bottom of the page.

        Hope that answers your question.
