  • C&P Events/Salesforce for Auctions Integration

    I love the integration you have established between Click & Pledge PAAS and Salesforce for Auctions. However, it would be terrific if you would take the next step and integrate C&P Events with Auctions, so that organizations could sell tickets online to their events. So, specifically, it would be great if, when a new C&P Event Registrant record was created, it could automatically create a new Auction Ticket opportunity (which could be closed if payment was made online), AND if new Event Registered Attendee records could generate Auction Attendee records. The concepts are pretty much identical - for a given registrant who pays, there can be multiple event attendees, just as for a given Auction ticket (i.e., the person who pays for the ticket) there can be multiple auction attendees.

    I just heard directly from David Habib on the Google Group for Non-Profit Salesforce administrators that he would love it if one of the event software vendors would do this integration, so I am passing on the request directly to you guys.     Good day Louise,

    Yes- it is a grand idea and we have already talked to David about it. In 2014 we will be forking the Auctions project and integrating it into our event. Event 2.0 was designed with that in mind and once released we will start working on that integration.

      Hello - I just wanted to check in re the C&P Events/ Auctions for Salesforce integration. It doesn't look like this has happened yet? Is there an ETA for when this will be released? I am meeting tomorrow with a client who would need this to be functional by early 2015....would just love to find a streamlined way to manage the ticket sale piece of the auctions process.

        Louise,

        We are still working on it - it is not ready for release. The initial release is complete native integration of our payment processing in Auctions and in next phase it will be integrated with the event.

        Auctions will be released with version 9.x due out towards the end of summer as it is being integrated with the new unified interface.

          Hello - I wanted to follow up on this. We are now starting to prepare for an event in March and were really hoping to use an integrated version of Auctions and C&P Events for this. I can't find any information on your site about whether that integration has occurred. Please see the string here for further details on your last comment on the subject. Thanks,
