Can you test iPhone 8+ for compatibility with Swiper1 app?

Using the adapter to create a port to plug the swiper into the IPhone, we press Swiper1 when ready to swipe the credit card. It says “connecting to swiper1” for quite a while and then it says “Device Not yet read” Re-Swipe, Manual Entry, Cancel” It does not set up swiper1 so we can swipe the card. We can do a manual entry. Using an adaptor because no headphone jack on 8+

Sorry for not responding earlier. The iPhone 8+ with the dongle will not work. The hardware is not compatible with any device that uses the dongle and converts the USB to the analog audio jack. The same is true with the Pixel with dongle.
The only solution is manual credit card entries with these devices.
Sorry for the inconvenience. The Bluetooth solution being developed will solve this problem but that is 2-3 months away.Regards,
