  • Swiper1 Credit card reader no longer sold

Our organization has gone "all-in" with your company to handle our online forms, our event registration and our credit card transactions at events. This has been a long process to switch over. We even had to purchase 4 different tablets due to compatibility issues with Swiper1. Now, just when we're almost to the finish line and ready for our first event using C&P on January 20th, they decide to stop selling the Swiper1 credit card devices. I only have 1 for testing purposes and I need 3 more. This is unacceptable!

We have Swiper1 and can send them to you. We can arrange for it to the shipped to you. I do not know the inventory but given we are switching to bluetooth and are testing different vendors the inventory has not be maintained for the audio-jack device.

I hope you agree that moving forward Audiojacks are a thing of the past. The real estate needed to accommodate the audio jack and its inherent thickness cannot possibly continue to be supported. Currently iPhone and Google phones have stopped supporting the audio jack and we are sure that others will follow.

Please let us know how many Swiper1's you need and I can have our team contact you.

I need 3 of the iii version shipped to the following address by next Tuesday, January 16th. Amazon would provide free, two-day shipping. Monday is a holiday so these need to be shipped today or tomorrow. Thanks

          Good day jeffmcguire11

Just to keep you updated. 3 Swiper1's were shipped to you yesterday. You should have it by Tuesday at the latest. Given you are in Virginia and we are in Blacksburg, VA the shipment should arrive on time.

We will contact you later this week for the invoice and how to pay for the units.

Please let us know if we can be of more help.

@CnP.Support: I am having a very serious issue as well. We have our largest fundraiser next Sunday, Jan. 28th and have the possibility of processing 500-1000 credit cards that night. I've synced our tablets and phones, but the Swiper1 (III) device is not working! When brought to the checkout page, I click the Swiper1 option in the middle and it is stuck in a cycle for a few minutes, stating "Connecting to Swiper1, please wait..." then comes back with "Please check the selected device in Device Manager." It won't work (so far) on a Lenovo tablet running Android 5.1.1 or my Samsung Galaxy S7 running Android 7.0. Our event is in 9 days! Help!! Click image for larger version

Kazaroff, did you go to the Device Manager in the Swiper1 app menu and select i or ii or iii?

I did. We have the 3rd generation Swipers. Perhaps they're not compatible with our hardware and operating systems?

                          Good day kazaroff

                          Please see: https://forums.clickandpledge.com/fo...obile-platform

The list is always maintained and is the first post in the Swiper1 channel.

It is practically impossible (& I use this word quite carefully as nothing really is impossible) to maintain all hardware and devices. Each company plays with its own standards with the audio jack and some introduce hardware to boost the audio signal and amplify or include booms, etc. We are also not in a position to purchase every conceivable device to test.

                          Supported devices: https://forums.clickandpledge.com/fo...ported-devices

The hardware list is maintained for all tested devices and we include a link to this list in the package that we ship as well.

We are currently investigating Galaxy 7 and have contacted the hardware manufacturer to ask if support may be provided for this hardware. We are waiting for their response. As of this post we have no news about support for this device.

Swiper1 has been tested on the following devices. Please let us know if you have worked with Swiper1 on any other device so we include it in the list. IMPORTANT NOTE: Swiper1-BT (the current hardware) should work with any Android or Apple device that has Bluetooth turned on. The table below is for legacy Swiper1 hardware (that

Thank you so much!! None of our devices are supported. Looks like we're going to have to go old-school and type it all in (the camera feature in the app doesn't work either). Have a good one!
