One of the people (Patti Bebien Aronoff) using Swiper is getting an error message when trying to sync with Salesforce. The error is "You are not integrated with salesforce properly. Check and try again later." The system worked when I was training her and now she is getting this message. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have granted C&P one week access Org ID 00D61000000JSwL.

This is very puzzling because she checked in those people and then started to receive the above error. So now it looks like she has lost all of the check in statuses. I'm trying to sell this product as a means to move away from paper check in systems, but these types of errors are making it quite difficult. Is there anything C&P can do to try to get this information back or advice when someone gets an error like the one she was receiving. This was one of my board members events.Comment

Good day kmorgan
We need to figure out what is causing this as we do not have access to her device. This system is being used by many at large conferences and we are confident it works but naturally in this case an error is being generated that we are not able to duplicate.
These days phones have a lot of added security. In Android with each installation there are many authorizations that one needs to approve - if a single one is not approved the phone will block that action. Swiper1 communicates with Salesforce services and posts the data with each sync. If the communication is being blocked then it cannot communicate. The challenge is we have no way of knowing.
Swiper1 holds all data internally given check-in and check-out may be done in a basement or at a conference center where WiFi access is at a $1000/day - I hope you see the point. To make sure the check-in and check-out work we save all information locally on the phone and then sync with Salesforce when the person has access to WiFi. This works great and saves a lot of API calls as well. Each check-in and check-out, if done in real time will consume 2 API calls so this design helps with issues surrounding WiFi as well as API calls since the entire data on the phone will sync with one API call.
The challenge, at the moment, is we have no way of knowing what is causing the issue on that phone specifically. Is it a permission issue, is it something else. We have tested it with her UserID and we have no issues as you see on the screens.
Do you know what phone she is using and which model, e.g. iPhone x or Android y? Also has she added any comments in a check-in? We check for special characters, e.g. apostrophes and have tested it with no issues but just wondering if she has added any comments with special characters? At this time we are just trying to figure out why she is seeing this whereas we cannot in all the phones we have tested.Regards,

Patti is using an Iphone SE. In her swiper instance people are still showing as checked in and checked out. She did not add any comments during the check in process. I personally walked Patti through the set-up of the Swiper app and made sure that all permission were set correctly.Comment

Good day @kmorgan
We have tested in iPhone SE - iOS version#10.3.2 and didn't see any error with above user. As state above the issue seems to be with her device permissions.Regards,

And as I stated before, I personally walked her through this process and the permission were set up correctly. So there is NO way to get the information that is stored on her phone into the system? Also, does this mean her phone is useless with the Swiper system?Comment
