So I added a new user in Connect (new portal) and have added and authorized the user to be a part of Swiper 1 in Salesforce. When I go to try to login using their Salesforce login I'm reaching invalid login. When this person signed up with Connect they weren't asked a password, so what password would they use. Do I need to set this person up in the old portal so that they in turn get a password?

Yes, you need to add the user under old portal since Swiper1 login required password.Regards,

So all users, even those considered volunteers will need to be added to the old portal. I know you are fazing out the old portal, so how long will this process be in place approximately?Comment

Yes, in order to use the Swiper1 they need to be added to old portal. We are working on Swiper1 for Connect services. However, old Portal will NOT retire until all its feature have been ported to the Connect.

I guess it;s just somewhat confusing when you have to set up profiles on Connect, but I guess they really don't mean anything yet.Comment
